A community is a collection of interdependent organisms with its own learning capacity for self-organization.
They are a primary object of study in ecology and a variety of disciplines including sociology (including community studies) when those organisms are human.
A human community may be defined as a group of individuals who share mutual concern for one another’s welfare.
Every community is a network. Not every network is a community, and equally a network may encompass multiple communities.
