Ethereum World Code Of Conduct

Ethereum World services for social interaction (the “Services”) are made for a community that welcomes people from any background. Everyone should have a feeling of inclusion and respect. We invite every member of the Ethereum World community that is using the Services to participate in the process of evolving our code of conduct and pointing out activities on the Services they feel are not right. What is permitted or required by law may vary among different jurisdictions. Also there may be different cultural habits and norms of what is acceptable or not in different parts of the world. The code of conduct may evolve to ensure these differences are reflected.

Threats Of Violence And Incitement

Content or actions that threaten, encourage, glorify or incite violence against anyone relate to extremism, terrorism, or human trafficking, directly or indirectly, are not accepted. The same goes for activities that encourage, promote or glorify acts of self-harm, and suicide.

Hate Speech

We do not allow content that promotes violence or hatred against people based on characteristics like race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, religion, disability, disease, age, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity.

Bullying And Harassment

The Services exist to share and discuss ideas. We don’t tolerate harassment, which includes bullying, threatening, or shaming someone, or posting things likely to encourage others to do so.

Sexual Or Human Exploitation

We have zero tolerance for child or other sexual or human exploitation within our community.

Illegal Or Certain Regulated Goods Or Services

You may not use Services for any unlawful purpose or in furtherance of illegal activities. This includes selling, buying, or facilitating transactions in illegal goods or services, as well as certain types of regulated goods or services.

Impersonation

You may not want to disclose your name or use a nickname, but you may not impersonate individuals, groups, or organizations in a manner that is intended to or does mislead, confuse, or deceive others.

Spam And Malicious Links

Avoid posting content primarily to drive traffic to, or increase the search rankings of, an external site, product, or service, as well as any links to malicious sites and scripts.

Avoid scraping and reposting content from other sources for the primary purpose of generating revenue or other personal gains, as well as posting duplicate content, whether from a single account or across multiple accounts.

Copyright And Trademark

You may not violate others’ intellectual property rights, including copyright and trademark.

Cryptocurrency Shilling

We do not endorse or verify any coin, token, or similar announcements. You must not advertise or participate in pump and dumps, reviewing for reward, or other forms of deceptive activity.

Privacy

We do not allow posting intimate or explicit images taken or posted without the subject’s express consent, or content that violates others’ privacy, including sensitive or confidential information such as credit card numbers, social security numbers, non-public phone numbers, physical addresses, email addresses, or other non-public information. We also prohibit threatening to expose private information or incentivizing others to do so.

Copyright, Trademark And Other Rights Infringement

Respect the copyrights, trademarks and other rights of others. Unless you are authorized to use someone else’s copyrighted work, trademark (either expressly or by legal exceptions and limitations like fair use) or other rights, don’t do it.

Feedback

This is an evolving document. It should be set together with the Ethereum World community that is using the Services. We invite you to discuss concerns and suggestions on how this code of conduct can be improved. Contact us on support@ethereum.world.
